MOJAMA OYSTER BAR: A Seafood Haven in Mexico City

Excellent service. Appetizers and entrees were all delicious and the place is very tidy and modern.

They specialize in seafood. Delicious and fresh. The attention is very good. I highly recommend the order of fried sardines AND definitely the California crab. The dishes have very good presentation and very good flavor.

Absolutely amazing, my favorite restaurant in Mexico now for (really) fresh seafood. Service was great with the head of waiters explaining every option they had in the oyster bar and recommendations on what to try depending on what you like. What we had that was great: Almejas chocolata, moro crab and cigala from the oyter bar, the mojama with tomato bread and the chiles del padron as entrance, the coliflower as side dish. Fish was very well cooked (and my mom loved it) but I liked better the other things we had, it was the Rodaballo.

I loved the place, the food is next level, we ordered surf and turf and both dishes were delicious. As a starter we ordered some mojama croquettes and a sarandado octopus toast. Highly recommended! I ordered picana and the meat was perfect, the cooking, the portion and the flavor. The butter lobster was also very delicious, although the size was a bit of a mistake since it was small compared to an average potion. I don't even remember the name of the dessert, but since it had a rare cheese and I'm not a big fan of rare cheeses... well, I'll just say that my wife loved it. In general, this place is highly recommended!!

Excellent experience, the place is very nice, spacious, has vegetation that separates the tables giving a little privacy but super well lit, the terrace is great, the service is first class, everyone is very friendly, as a starter they serve olives with a slight bitter taste (I do not dislike it), the menu is complete, includes meat, seafood and vegetables, we ordered tuna tostadas with hummus a delight, Mexican crab tostada, octopus tostada and soft fried crab with jocoque, the presentation and flavors are perfect, we really enjoyed it, anchovies, served with tomato bread, they have artisan bread and pita bread that we love, really delicious, habanero ash very rich and very spicy, we also ordered at the chef's suggestion a charcoal-grilled chocolate clam with an exquisite flavor with melted cheese, miso oysters a very pleasant unknown flavor, tacos rosarito and gobernador, a choripan served with French fries, the prices according to the quality of the food, we really want to return soon.

Starting with the tomato bread with aged dried tuna, truly delicious. We continued with the escamoles sushi, which was spectacular, a totally unexpected but very well-balanced flavor. We continued with tiger shrimp that came in a splendid garlic butter sauce. The oysters were also very fresh and delicious. The vanilla ice cream with activated charcoal is perfect to round out the meal. They have a very good wine selection in the cellar; I recommend the 3V Gran Reserva.

The food was amazing, the service left nothing to chance.
